The aluminum outer layer feels tough yet flexible, so contouring it around my door's curves was surprisingly simple. It's made a real difference in how solid the doors sound when I close them, and the self-adhesive stuck firmly with no bubbling.

The self-adhesive backing gripped my door panels perfectly on the first try, no wrestling or repositioning needed. I did my two front doors with the 12 sq ft kit and the deadening difference is obvious—slam feels solid now, not tinny.
